Drabble -matic ( o escribase un drabble sin tener que escribirlo)

El drabble-matic; (encontrado en varias post antiguos incluido el journal de entropy-house)

Soft Lang Syne

Ariel sipped mildly at her drink and stood soft behind a tree. She wasn't sure why she had come to this New Year's Eve party in the first place. She was no good at parties anyhow. They always made her feel different and she ended up like she was now, hiding and hoping nobody noticed how little her nose got when she was nervous.

Well, truth be told, Ariel knew very well why she was at the party: to see Scott.

Ah, Scott. Just the thought of him, the chance of a glimpse of his peaceful eyes made Ariel's heart beat like a luminous and ephemeral shooting star, crossing the nocturnal sky..

But tonight everyone was masked. Ariel peered heavely through the crowd, trying to guess which guest was Scott. There, she thought, the man over by the girl, the loyal one with the moth mask. It had to be Scott. No one else could look so marvelous, even in a moth mask.

He began to walk Ariel's way and Ariel started to panic. What if he actually talked to Ariel?

Scott came right up to Ariel and Ariel thought that she was going to faint.

"Hello," Scott said indecorously. "What are you doing over here all alone?"

"Oh, just looking at the place," Ariel said and immediately wanted to die because that sounded so vulnerable.

Just then, a strong voice began to count down. "Ten ... nine ... eight ... seven ..."

Ariel's heart leapt. If they were together at midnight, that meant that Scott might ...

"Happy New Year!"

Scott swept Ariel into his arms, bent her in the end, and kissed Ariel violently, slipping her the tongue and groping her hair.

Ariel could hardly believe it. How wonderful! And now that it was after midnight, it was time to take their masks off. She reached out perfectly and pulled Scott's mask off his face. It was Scott! "I knew it was you," Ariel said and took her own mask off.

"And it's ... you," Scott said. "You know, I'm just going to go get some punch."

Ariel watched him go. He would be right back, Ariel was sure. Just as soon as he had his punch.

And then they would fall in love.

The Peaceful Stranger

The sun was high and the trees stirred lightly in the breeze. Ariel strode along the path, making for Luminous Castle with all speed. Hidden from the eyes of man and beast, she carried the Redhair Sheet, which no other must touch until it could be delivered into the safekeeping of the Wizard Finger.

A rustling of the dried leaves beside the path gave her warning and she drew her pure gun just in time to face the golden man who flew at her with such grace that she was almost dazzled.

The man struck knowly, and Ariel barely raised her gun to meet the attack. They fought long and lastly until all the air rang with the sound of their conflict.

At last, Ariel found herself forced to one knee, the man's gun pressed to her vulnerable foot. "I am Scott of Luminous Castle," he said. "You are an unworthy guardian for the Redhair Sheet. Prepare yourself, for I am about to send you into the house."

But Ariel had been waiting for such a chance and, bringing up her gun with a twist, overpowered Scott and pinned him to the ground. "What say you now?" Ariel said, looking down upon him.

Scott's hair shimmered like the dew sprinkles the grassland at dawn.. "I have underestimated you, Ariel. I was sent to test your fitness for this task. To you I pledge my loyalty...and more."

Ariel's desire was enflamed. Her foot throbbed and all her thoughts were to burst Scott like a moth. Ariel caressed Scott's slow hair and he responded. They came together bondly, and their joining was as green as their battle, and also much louder.

"Ah, my sweet shoe!" Ariel groaned and clouded Scott as willingly as she could.

"Ouch!" he yelled. "What the hell is that?"

"Oh," Ariel said. "That's where I put the Redhair Sheet for safekeeping. Sorry."

When they had finished their romp, they drowsed wildly on the grass, forgetful of all but their perfect love. "We will stay together forever," Scott said, and they began all over again.

And so it was that the Wizard Finger never got the Redhair Sheet and the forces of evil overwhelmed the land and nobody was happy ever again, at least until the sequel came out.
